Cell Agnostic
A key discriminator is Powerwin’s independence from cell production. Not all cell chemistries or formats are the same. Their performance varies widely depending on the use case, the operational environment and the life cycle of the application. Being “cell agnostic” allows us to pick the best cell suited to your needs. We determine the best chemistry for your application. Commonly packaged cell types include prismatic, cylindrical and pouch cells with chemistries including lithium-iron phosphate, lithium-ion NMC, NCA and lithium-titanate.
Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Octillion designs its own BMS to meet the unique requirements of each customer. Octillion’s engineers work directly with our customers to define the key operational parameters of the target application, designing around a standard micro-controller chip that integrates cell balancing, protection circuitry and system control firmware.
